One thing Cuba certainly has is some beautiful beaches and many of them are world class and offer excellent facilities. The island of Cuba is bordered by nearly three hundred wonderful, natural beaches where crystalblue waves wash up onto fine white sand.
Many of Cuba’s beaches remain undiscovered by tourists and offer a desert island tranquillity that is breathtaking. Below a list and link to further information to some of the main beaches.
Cayo Largo beach - is a stunning beach and with over 20 miles of beaches on the island of Cayo Largo, in the Carribbean sea, this is

Cayo Coco - is well known because of the pink flamingos which grace this island on the Northern part of the main island of Cuba. Learn more about Cayo Coco beach and island.
On the main island of Cuba, Varadero beach is 20 kilometres long and is one of Cuba’s most popular beaches with its scuba diving, shallow, clear water and fabulously rich flora and fauna. The white sand and gently graded beach is ideal for families with young children and diving from boats, off shore, there is a rich supply of lobsters, fish, crabs, shrimps and coral. Entertainment from the shore is provided by the dolphins leaping out of the sea.
The beach at Cayo Santa Maria, one of the numerous Cuban islands just to the north of Cuba’s north shore, is 13 kilometres of snow white sand and swaying palms. The beach is protected from big waves by its coral reef ensuring that this beach can truly be called, Paradise on earth.
Playa Ancón beach in Cuba is another Gem of a beach with stunning views, great oppportunities for water sports and for beach life.
