Obtaining a Tourist Visa to Enter Cuba
In order to obtain a Visa to enter Cuba you must visit the consulate in London. You will need to make an appointment before visiting as demand is high. Alternatively, you can fill in a form online and send it to either the consulate or to one of the organisations which act as an intermediary between you and the consulate. You will be required to provide certain documentation, so ensure that you clarify the credentials of intermediary organisations before handing over any documents. Visa turnaround times are dependent on the fee you are prepared to pay.
Your Cuban Tourist Visa can take up to 4 weeks to process, although this is variable and you should generally be able to obtain one in a shorter period of time. A tourist Visa is valid for 180 days after issue and the holder can visit the country for one 30-day period within that 180 days. A 30 day extension can be acquired. You are not permitted to conduct any business transactions if visiting Cuba using a Tourist Visa.
