This airline is based in Havana and offers many regular international flights to Cuba from many countries in the Caribbean and Central America.

The Aerogaviota airline has flights both to and from Cuba and you will be able to travel to the country from the Bahamas, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Columbia, Venezuela, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Aerogaviota is one of the newest airline services to be launched in Cuba and it was set up only in 1994. This carrier service offers cargo flights, regular flights, helicopter services and charter flights to Cuba.

The government airline is managed by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Cuba and unlike the popular Cubana airline, this carrier service runs its flights mainly out of the Playa Baracoa Airport.

Flying to Jamaica

Tourists looking to get to Cuba from Nassau in the Bahamas and Montego Bay in Jamaica will be able to avail of regular flights that operate between the islands.

Since this airline was first established by the Cuban government and army, the carrier uses aircraft like the Mil Mi-8 and the Antonov An -26, proving a unique flying experience to passengers who charter flights or opt for helicopter rides.

The airline currently operates flights to 22 different destinations and is run by the Civil Aviation Corporation of Cuba.

This airline also offers apical services to business travelers who may need to fly to difficult locations.
