Guardalavaca, a town to the north of Holguin region, is one of the best beach resorts in Cuba.

The easiest way to get to Guardalavaca is to drive into the town through Holguin or to take a bus into the area. It is also possible to fly into the Aeropuerto Internacional Frank País, which is the closest airport to Guardalavaca.
