Wedding venues

After writing the post on weddings in Cuba, I had several emails from many readers asking about hotels that offer wedding services and which offer what are in effect wedding packages.

So, in this post below, I will give some more information on wedding options.

Paradisus Rio de Oro Resort & Spa

(Playa Esmeralda, Carretera Guardalavaca, Playa Guardalavaca) – The Paradisus has a dedicated wedding and honeymoon team who offer and help you with a number of services which include the following:

Wedding:

  • Special wedding organizer available.
  • Back-up venue in the event of inclement weather.
  • Specially extended check-in and check-out times for your wedding.
  • A gazebo is available for your wedding.
  • Wedding cake, champagne, food, venue, and any extras are all provided.
  • Marriage certificate and custom-provided wedding invitations.
  • Much more. Contact the dedicated wedding organizer for more information.

The hotel itself is set in a stunning beachside location with some high-class on-site restaurants and overall a clean and well-organized hotel.

A great place where your wedding guests can stay and at which you can organize the wedding ceremony.

Sol Cayo Guillermo (Cayo Guillermo)

(Jardines Del Rey, Cuba) – The Sol Cayo Guillermo is a 4-star hotel with a beachside location, which offers its own bespoke wedding and honeymoon packages and programs.

The highlights of their main wedding services include:

  • Help with the organization of all documentation, including the wedding certificates, notary services and any other paperwork needed.
  • Wedding planner and coordinator.
  • Flowers for the wedding and dining location.
  • Cava for the wedding celebration and a choice of dining options for your wedding guests (if coming with a party of wedding guests).
  • Different rooms for the night before the wedding (if you require).
  • Witnesses for your wedding if you are planning a small wedding and need someone available.
  • A number of other services. This hotel is also owned by the Melia group.

They also offer specially designed “Renew your vows” packages and “honeymoon” packages.

The hotel and resort venue itself is in the stunning Cayo Guillermo area and home to a number of white sandy beaches and close to many facilities including water sports. The hotel itself is set in an inclusive resort.

Hotel Royalton Hicacos Resort & Spa

A luxury 5-star hotel in the beachside area of Varadero, this adults-only hotel might appeal to many of you.

The Royalton Hiracos organize weddings and honeymoon packages for those guests looking to tie the knot in this beautiful location on the Gulf of Mexico, in Cuba.

With facilities that include its own tennis courts, squash courts, range of watersports activities (including snorkeling, sailing on a catamaran, and windsurfing), its own Jacuzzis and three swimming pools.

All aspects of the wedding and honeymoon and stay for your wedding guests can be organized by the hotel’s wedding planner.

One of the most confusing things if you are getting married in Cuba is to understand the legalities and to deal with the paperwork, which does not forget, will be in Spanish.

The hotel has an international team and is very familiar with the processes and procedures for organizing weddings.

Quick Facts to Consider
